How to make Paneer Paratha


For The Dough:

  1. Wheat flour- 450 gms
  2. Ghee(melt and cool)- 1 tbsp
  3. Ajwain- 1 tsp
  4. Salt- 1 tsp or to taste
  5. Water according to need

For Stuffing:

  1. Grated paneer/cheese- 200 gms
  2. Coriander powder- 1 tsp
  3. Garam amsala- 1 tsp
  4. Fine chopped green chillies- 3-4
  5. Chopped coriander- 2 tbsp(optional)
  6. Salt- ½ tsp or to taste
  7. Enough ghee for baking


  1. Take flour in a vessel, add ghee, salt and ajwain.
  2. Make a soft dough with the help of enough water.
  3. Cover the dough with cotton cloth, keep aside.
  4. Mix all the stuffing ingredients except oil.
  5. Make small and equal balls of the dough.
  6. Roll like chapati with the help of dry flour.
  7. Spread stuff all over the disc(except the edges).
  8. Cover the disc with another disc, seal the edges.
  9. If it is difficult to seal use a paste of flour and water.
  10. Heat a non stick pan on slow flame, place the stuffed disc on it.
  11. Oil both sides of the paratha, bake till golden brown.
  12. Serve hot with coriander-tomato chutney.
